In the second-season opener, an agent vanishes while on an assignment, and the team, along with new liaison Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen), works with the LAPD in a case involving human trafficking in order to find the agent.
While undercover an NCIS agent goes missing and the team is assigned to locate him. LAPD is investigating the matter in regards to money laundering, human trafficking and drug dealing. The NCIS and LAPD must work together to find those responsible for the missing agent.
